Talasin, an Amazigh name meaning ‘woven tales’ is an holistic attempt to preserve, revitalise and elevate Morocco’s ancient craft of weaving handmade rugs, through the exploration of heritage materials and processes including Berber Knot and local henna plants to dye the fibres, and working with a traditional community of female weavers at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
